File Systems and Communication
All access to The VPN Zone website is restricted to HTTPS encrypted connections.
User passwords are secured with encryption techniques. They are never stored in the database in plain text and are not readable by staff.
Data that The VPN Zone stores
Being a blog The VPN Zone stores very little data however should you apply for coaching or mentoring we will store your Email address and cookie data
Currently, all data and data backups are stored in on our Server in the United States. We do not back up any of your accounts(or your customer’s) data in other locations.
Data deletion handling
Subscribers can delete their accounts or subscriptions at any time. Once an account is deleted it will be completely removed from our systems within 7 days. Alternatively you can request that we delete your account by submitting a support call through the helpdesk (details on site)
Data protection measures
We have a number of security measures in place to protect data present in your account.
The VPN Zone keeps all of your accounts data completely isolated from other accounts.
The VPN Zone shares as little data as possible with 3rd parties. If we share data, it is only your email address and cookie data used for reasons described below.
The only 3rd parties we work with or may work with are:
- Google Analytics – tracking views of The VPN Zone
- Facebook Advertising – retargeting and advertising The VPN Zone
- Google Adwords – retargeting and advertising The VPN Zone
- ConvertKit – send important emails, newsletters.
- Cloudflare – to improve speed by managing caching.
- Hotjar – monitor The VPN Zone website activity and track buttons clicks, events.
- Sumo – Track views and website activity
Our staff will never access your account unless required for support reasons.
When working a support issue we do our best to respect your privacy as much as possible, we only access the minimum data needed to resolve your issue.
Finally, it’s worth noting The VPN Zone is a very small blog, so access to any data is very limited.
